Trust Me

A difficult year filled with loss and heartache leaves Allison Scott withdrawn and emotionally disconnected. When she is finally ready to move forward with her life, she embarks on a getaway vacation to Miami, determined to find healing from the painful memories in her past.

Damien Wales also has a tragic past that has left him a cold and distant person. However, the moment he sees Allison, he’s inexplicably drawn to her, and he is a man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

A sunset stroll brings the two together. Allison feels an undeniable attraction to Damien, but she’s hesitant to get close to anyone. Damien will do everything he can to keep Allison in his life, but his overprotective and domineering demeanor might just push her away. When Damien’s dark past begins to collide with his present, Allison’s life is put in danger. Damien must keep her safe, but some things are just out of his control.

Trust Me is the first book in the Trust Series.

My Review of Love Me

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was a really good follow on from Trust Me. The book picks up where Trust Me ended. With Alli and Damien in love and engaged. Even though they both want to just move on with their lives, there is always something in the way or someone that comes out of the woodwork and causes up a stir in their lives.
What I loved about this book was the aspect of mystery and torment throughout with the 'mystery man' who kept cropping up. Just when you thought you had the person who it was pegged, BAM, something else happened and you again, began to question who the suspect was. The relationship between Alli and Damien continued to grow and strengthen and I loved the scenes both sexy and intimate between them as it showcased the many sides of their relationship. The love between them really shined through.
This is a wonderful romance book with the added mystery and suspense that keeps you engaged, on the edge of your seat and forever guessing. Damien will do anything to protect Alli and find out who hurt his sister and you're constantly thinking, 'will they be able to find him and save her?'  This was a book about learning who to trust and to keep those you love around you. I cannot wait for the next installment.

My Rating:

Promise Me
Sam Matthews story from Trust Me and Love Me. More information to come. Expected publication, early summer of 2014.

 Who is Kristin Mayer?

Kristin Mayer is a wife, a proud mother, and a full-time Analyst and Import Manager. Since an early age, she has always enjoyed reading and writing. While visiting her father one weekend, he suggested that she should take up writing again. With family and a career, she didn’t give it a lot of thought, until a story entered her mind and wouldn’t leave. It just kept forming and developing over a couple of months.
At the beginning of 2013, she decided to sit down and write it all down, but she kept it to herself. One sentence developed into two, and before she knew it, she had the makings of a novel.
Kristin tries to live life to the fullest during every moment. She loves to travel and meet new people. She holds a degree in International Business and uses it daily in her job. Kristin now adds “author” on her list of jobs, and feels very blessed and thankful.
